This will be a fun time of learning split between hands on experiential learning as well as lecture and introduction to the philosophy of using indigenous microbial life in agroecosystem management. Students will learn Korean Natural Farming techniques from one of the world’s leading practitioners Chris Trump. No previous experience with these methods is necessary, though students are encouraged to watch some of the free videos Chris has made available on YouTube before the class.
Whether you farm 3,000 acres or have a home garden, this time of education will give you tools that will have a positive impact on your crops. Natural Farming is focused on partnering with the laws and principles found in nature and thus works well in conjunction with many other regenerative farming practices. We will learn how to collect indigenous microbes from your area as well as how to make effective highly available fertilizers for foliar feed and soil drenching. Come join the party that this is sure to be! Bring your microbiology questions as well as Chris is a wealth of knowledge on how plants interact with the microbiological world.
