Join certified Wim Hof instructor Ben Pelton of Living Web Farms, in a workshop focused on the fundamentals of the Wim Hof Method. The Wim Hof Method is based on three powerful pillars- cold exposure, breathing, and meditation/focus. Mindfulness is also a key component to the Wim Hof Method.
Exposing your body to cold in the right way starts a stream of health benefits including reduced inflammation, stronger immune system, improved sleep, balance in hormone levels, a buildup of brown adipose tissue which can lead to fat loss, and the production of endorphins in the brain which will help to elevate your mood.
The specialized breathing techniques of the Wim Hof Method lead to heightened oxygen levels. More oxygen means more energy, lower stress levels, and an increase in immune response.
Commitment to cold exposure and focused, mindful breathing requires a patience and diligence to master your mind and body.
Participants will walk away with a clear understanding of how to practice the method properly and safely, as well as how the method can be used to develop greater control over general health/well-being when practiced regularly.
