  • January 30, 2018
    6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Learn how to build a small-scale germination chamber using repurposed materials and readily available off-the-shelf parts. The benchtop chamber fits seven starter trays and uses a temperature controlled water bath, wide-spectrum interior light, and controlled humidity to provide an ideal environment for seed starting and graft healing.

Richard Freudenberger, Living Web Farms’ Energy and Resource Coordinator, will explain construction techniques, insulation, heating, lighting requirements, and humidity control using an inexpensive microprocessor.
