Craig Siska, a former student of the late gardener and visionary Alan Chadwick, visits Living Web Farms for a two day event focused on the Biodynamic-French Intensive Approach and share story and experience that honors horticulture as the approachable and necessary art that it is.  In addition to a short history and foundation of the Biodynamic-French Intensive Approach, Craig with cover universal principles underlying this spiritual approach to horticulture & the garden, garden design & layout, raised bed/pathway construction, cold composting cycle, seed sowing & transplanting & prick out, planting & sowing in relays (season extension), glasshouse & frame work, cover crops & green manuring, biodynamic preparations, key under-utilized plants of the Appalachian eco-region, varietal disintegration, and new approaches in horticulture via vibrational science.
